This layout uses a background image that is 1600 X 1200. The amount you see depends on your resolution. If you view this layout on a 1280 X 1024 you will see more than if you view it on a monitor that is 1024 X 768. However, the main content, navigation, and header are 790 X 900 and will be viewable without a horizontal scrollbar on most current resolutions (minus mobile devices).

This layout uses a small amount of css3, but these are relatively minor additions. The layout works with Firefox, Safari, Opera, and on Internet Explorer 6 and up. It passes the Cynthia Says Section 508 Accessibility Report. It also has been tested with Colorblind Filter and while it is less attractive with some forms of colorblindness it is still readable.
